Playing Nintendo games with a DualShock would be amazing. Only non Nintendo game want right now on Wii U is Sonic.

So if Nintendo made a console but didn't give any exclusives, do you think anyone would buy it? Why would Nintendo make a console if it wasn't going to give any 1st party games to it? No one would buy the PS4 or Xbone if they didn't have 1st party. Let's say Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony all didn't make 1st party games and everything was available on all platforms. What would people buy? Value would be determined entirely by price to power ratio, and Sony would crush everything. Xbone would come in second not due to price to power, but due to the fact that they like Sony have a good online service. Nintendo would be behind in price to power, and has poor online, so it'd come in third. But then can you blame Xbone or Nintendo in this case? Nintendo's console was designed around providing unique gameplay with the gamepad, but without any unique support, that all becomes pointless. Xbone was also designed around a unique experience with the Kinect, some of which involves a gameplay experience, so if it can't provide that, what's the point of the extra 100 dollars for a fancy camera? This is a completely unfair comparison. Each company provides a unique experience. Each brand derives its value from a blend of power, price, and gameplay, and has a different design to deliver that. All you accomplish by asking this question is to show that Nintendo and even Microsoft to a point rely less on price and power and more on a unique experience to create brand loyalty.

No. Not if their games were ported to PC. If not...still probably not. PS4 would be a much more attractive buy with Nintendo games on the system.

1) Still the other systems wouldn't have MH3U, Lego City Undercover and ZombiU.
2) Still the other systems wouldn't have off-tv-play (a feature I thought unimportant until I tried).
3) Still no games really that makes me want a PS4/XB1.

Answer enough?

Now my question: Would anybody here buy a PS4/XB1 if GTAV, Skyrim, Uncharted, Halo, Forza, GT, God of Wars, Titanfall and Destiny would all on WiiU?

I might get one some day. Also, you can technically already play Nintendo games on other platforms thanks to emulators.

You know... That's a really interesting idea for a thread. I wonder what people would say...

If that were to happen the wii u versions of the games would not play or look identical. Obviously the hardware is weeker and the online cant compare to XBL or PSN, so that comparison wouldnt be really fair.

however if that were to happen that the games looked and played near identical then no i wouldnt buy a ps4 or XB1 if Wii u had all the same games including all there exclusives on top of there own....

I messed up the question/answers. :'(

LOL, I see that.  "No, I still want to play it on a Nintendo system because [insert reason]"  Split personality much? J/K

Haha. To be honest I was in a lot of hurry. Noticed it just as I had posted the thread and I found no option to change the question or the answers. :(

I guess this is a "fanboy" answer somehow (at least to the Sony/MS fanboys that drool at the very dream of having Nintendo games on their systems), but I would not want to buy Nintendo games for other platforms. Outside of the fact that I don't believe Nintendo would ever really go third party, to me it would also just feel wrong.

To be honest, if Nintendo did ever die, I would likely quit buying video game consoles at all, and only play old systems, or indie games on PC.

I know that I wouldn't.

But then again, if I could get all those games on PC, I wouldn't get any console at all.
