Basically when a game is exclusive to a console the fanboys for the console worship said game and raze it up high. For instance, Forza for XB1 tons of fanboys hyping it when NFS turned out to be just as good or better. Sony? Remember Haze? LOL Sony fanboys hyped that to hell, that is until the 1st reviews panned it. Killzone? If it were not exclusive would there be some many people trying to convince us how good it was gonna be? I mean there are really people who will try to convince you Knack and Ryse are actually good games. Nintendo fanboys.... they even tried to tell us WiiMusic was gonna be awsome.

The best games available for the 8th gen consoles are multiplats. BF4, AC4, COD, NFL, NBA 2K are all better games than any of the exclusive regardless of how much fanboys try to convice you they may suck (COD particulary is hated by fanboys because they are angered their exclusive games cant touch it in sales)

Now, back to my main point. Is Titanfall another case of a game that has fanboys in a tizzy or is there actually some geniune interest?

It is on the 360 and PC. I have two ways to play it.

It's a little bit of both if I say so myself. I'm almost sure that titanfall will be atleast a decent game or maybe even great but when you have xbox fans going around claiming it to be GOTY or GOTG or a huge saving grace for the X1 with it's uncomfortable price tag when it hasn't even released yet then I think we have an issue here.

I think so, exclusives give owners of said console more attention than say a multiplatform game does

Unless you have played all exclusives your opinion is a joke on 8th generatation games. Better is subjective anyway. You cant even begin to tell the opinion of everyone. Some have more fun with Killzone or Forza than the rest of those games.

It can be played on PC or even XB360.

The only thing Titanfall is exclusive to is Windows, so unless you only own a Mac and a Playstation, you'll be able to play the game without buying/owning an XOne.

I'm not even considering ordering it for PC, so...

I think the question is: Is there more hype for TitanFall or resentment that some people aren't going to get to play it on certain systems.

I say mostly the first, but a good deal of the second. So much bitterness this week - like gallons of fresh squeezed bitter dandelion juice. . But hey, it helped shoot up EA's stock price by a good amount.

For me it's nothing to do with the platforms it's on and everything to do with the development team behind it. No one has managed to deliver that crack-like fast paced multiplayer experience since MW2. Respawn are basically the same people behind that game and it's my favourite online multiplayer game ever.

The game looks awesome. It wouldn't look any less awesome if it weren't an Xbox exclusive. Besides, when it was first announced, everyone thought it was just a timed exclusive, anyway.
