Sometimes you gotta laugh at how Vgchartz break down their data. 24K in UK and 45K in Europe for xbone. That's gotta be terrible for the rest. haha

The general expectation definitely wasn't down YoY. At least before we got the week 1 Japanese numbers. Most people seemed to expect fairly strong YoY growth. I've even seen quite a few predictions putting Jan-Mar sales higher than Oct-Dec sales.

Well America/Europe are slightly up YoY. Japan is the only region down but at this point last year it was still Wii U 4th week so perhaps it still had some launch hype going on.

Its the coming weeks that will show how bad the decline is. Last year week 2 saw it drop to sub 50k and by late Jan/early Feb each region had dropped to sub 10k for an average of 30k for most of the quarter.

If all 3 regions can stay in the 15-20k range for the next few weeks that would keep it above 50k WW and Donkey Kong is coming in February which should boost sales for a few weeks.

Overall I see this quarter being better than it was last year but anyone who thinks it will be higher than the holiday quarter is an absolute joke and should be disregarded.
