Sometimes you gotta laugh at how Vgchartz break down their data. 24K in UK and 45K in Europe for xbone. That's gotta be terrible for the rest. haha

Really? Considering the number of Euro countries, UK sales at 50% of Euro sales seems about right to me, 360 UK sales are 36% of Euro market.

Interesting to see that the UK is currently about 25% of PS4 Euro sales given PS3 is at 19%.

Both will probably drop to similar percentage numbers as last gen once out everywhere I guess.

The xbox doesn't get much of its sales from those other countries, they are small and a tiny portion of xbox sales.

I guess you're not checking the number of sales coming from the others for PS4 which Xbox One can only dream of even if it release in those countries.

Once last gen is over...You're making me laugh at your assumptions.

It looks like the 360's legs are getting tired. I wonder how the PS3 is going to be next year.

Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

looks like Sony couldn't ship many PS4 this week...

WiiU begins its freefall, next week should be interesting.

Xbox starts to take US, PS4 dominates Europe.

Need to get that ONE released in the rest of Europe.

LOL.  Just wait for other numbers to surface and adjustments to be made.

PS4 doing well despite still being supply constrained. The fact that the XBone is only outselling the PS4 by approx. 15k in the US is a bit concerning. Over the next few months, we're going to see the XBone outselling the PS4 by very narrow margins in the US. However, the PS4 will exhibit huge periodic spikes when its stock is replenished, subsequently outselling the XBone as much or more than how much the XBone will have outsold the PS4 prior to the replenishment.

PS3 is doing surprisingly well and it'll probably have a decent 2014 considering it still has a bunch of games coming out for this year (e.g. Persona 5, Tales of Zestiria, etc.). It's quite surprising to see it outsell the XBone by a 2 to 1 ratio in Europe.

The Vita is doing alright, though it's still doing poorly in the US. I don't think it'll sustain those kinds of numbers on the long run, unfortunately. 3DS is unsurprisingly on top, as usual.

The next months will be interesting. We'll see how much Titanfall, Infamous: Second Son, and Driveclub help their respective consoles. Also, Sony will be the only one attending the Taipei Game Show and will make new announcements.

3DS up 30k in both Europe and America YOY which is pretty good considering people are expecting 2013 to be the peak year for the system in these 2 regions. However, Japan is down by a good marging. I'm expecting sub 4m in Japan this year and around 4.5-5m for Europe and 4.5-4.8m for America. That should put it fairly close to last year's sales numbers.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

This ^^^ was the point I was going to make :)

For example we know in the UK large numbers of stock were apparently coming in this week, and USA/UK amazon has stock on the 10th and 14th? or something like that. So I am not taking much weight in weekly numbers while you cannot generally find stock on shelves.. I think it's too confusing. Once both consoles are available in stores on shelves, then i think we can really see what is happening.

I expect Sony to outsell MS in January in UK and USA. I am also one of the people who think Sony can sell 6.5-7 million consoles by march based on the evidence we have so far.

WiiU 2800 in the UK for this week.

jesus... its dead already!

Atleast it wasn't DOA. I can't say the same for Xbone in Japan though.

No you can't, because X1 hasn't released in Japan.

When will it release there?

I wonder if MS have just abandoned that market. And what about all the other remaining countries. Surely they have enough supply now to release it in other countries.

Maybe soon, they've announced that Zoo Tycoon will be one of the releases in Japan http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/01/08/zoo-tycoon-japanese-release-dates-confirm-xbox-ones-local-release-in-2014/
