PS4 doing well despite still being supply constrained. The fact that the XBone is only outselling the PS4 by approx. 15k in the US is a bit concerning. Over the next few months, we're going to see the XBone outselling the PS4 by very narrow margins in the US. However, the PS4 will exhibit huge periodic spikes when its stock is replenished, subsequently outselling the XBone as much or more than how much the XBone will have outsold the PS4 prior to the replenishment.

PS3 is doing surprisingly well and it'll probably have a decent 2014 considering it still has a bunch of games coming out for this year (e.g. Persona 5, Tales of Zestiria, etc.). It's quite surprising to see it outsell the XBone by a 2 to 1 ratio in Europe.

The Vita is doing alright, though it's still doing poorly in the US. I don't think it'll sustain those kinds of numbers on the long run, unfortunately. 3DS is unsurprisingly on top, as usual.

The next months will be interesting. We'll see how much Titanfall, Infamous: Second Son, and Driveclub help their respective consoles. Also, Sony will be the only one attending the Taipei Game Show and will make new announcements.

This ^^^ was the point I was going to make :)

For example we know in the UK large numbers of stock were apparently coming in this week, and USA/UK amazon has stock on the 10th and 14th? or something like that. So I am not taking much weight in weekly numbers while you cannot generally find stock on shelves.. I think it's too confusing. Once both consoles are available in stores on shelves, then i think we can really see what is happening.

I expect Sony to outsell MS in January in UK and USA. I am also one of the people who think Sony can sell 6.5-7 million consoles by march based on the evidence we have so far.
