I was giving you a single example of whats to come on a larger scale for true next gen games from the horses mouth at Bethesda. Elder Scrolls online isn't a current gen game. I never said a word about Skyrim, I just said Skyrim was the only game I really I liked that wasn't majorly buggy from Bethesda even though though they have plenty of other good games. Elder Scrolls online wasnt even supposed  to be on consoles but because of the power of next gen consoles it is now a possibility.

First of all the Wii U isn't even getting ports of most of the third party games coming to current gen so that should already be a warning to you.

Witcher 3

The Division

FF XV

Kingdom Hearts 3

Cyberpunk 2077 (Devs said it is most likely coming to next gen even though it isn't listed)

Most of the major next gen games showing off the start of next gen are exclusives though.

Those are just a handful of wave of next gen games. Once third parties are no longer dependent upon the sales of the last gen HD Twins the installed bases of the next gen HD Twins would've grown. That is when they will go all out. Wii U is still getting table scraps as it is right now. They wont dumb down the games any longer.

Is out of?... American third party support?! You mean the same kind of support they never had since the SNES days?

That is ridiculous. What angers the american third parties is that they cant control Nintendo and quite honestly, Nintendo can survive without them.

People buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games and other exclusives (wich usually are partnerships with Nintendo). This idea that third parties make a difference is completely on the realm of fantasy. Nintendo doesnt need third party support. People dont buy Nintendo systems for third party games. Get over it. Thats why they dont sell in the first place.

The only thing that is out are these fantastic theories that having american 3rd party support would make any difference.

And that is the problem. Why in the world would 3rd parties bother with the WiiU when owners don't buy their games?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Nintendo had third party support on lockdown during the SNES era. They were keeping them from Sega. PC companies stayed clear until the N64/PSX era when the tech moved forward and Nintendo came out with an analog stick. Third parties only respond to opportunity. If you dont create an opporutunity for them to make their games on your console, you're shit out of luck.

I'm pretty sure that the WII would have done well without 3rd party either.

What was your point? I think it wouldnt have done as well without 3rd party support. People did buy those games its not like NINTY could have made up the bulk by themselves. Fact it every Ninty system that did well had significant 3rd party support, i dont think thats a coincidence.

his point:

Wii still would ve sold a ton without 3rd party

your point:

name one Nintendo console that did well without 3rd party support

i agree with both

N64 did arguably OK for the lackluster 3rd party it had. still it had more 3rd party exclusives than WiiU will ever have

The GameCube had much better third party support than N64, but did worse.
The Wii is the most successful Nintendo console, but had the worst third party support. 2014 could be even worse on Wii U.

The most successful third party series on Wii (Just Dance, Mario & Sonic, Zumba Fitness and LEGO games) are still on Wii U. They're unsuccessful because the Wii U audience consists primarily of core gamers who like Nintendo games.

The only thing that is out are these fantastic theories that having american 3rd party support would make any difference.

For the Wii U, most of Nintendo's support has come from western developers.  There's hardly been any Japanese support.  Tecmo Koei who is developing Hyrule Warriors hasn't supported them since the first couple months after launch.  The only reason they're developing the game is because they're getting paid.  Square Enix has only developed one game for the Wii U and has absolutely nothing else in development for the Wii U while there are several games for the PS360, PS4, and Xbox One.

There have been a lot of recent western released titles and more upcoming western release titles.  So Japanese care less about the Wii U than the west does.  Guess the Japanese want to control Nintendo too and are angered because they can't, right?
