Well, we know PS4 has passed 2.1 million units sold and X1 has passed 2.0 million sold. These are apparently sell-throughs too customers. All well and good.

But we haven´t heard one thing since! I would expect some announcment that PS4 has reached 3 million or X1 2.5 million but not one word at this crucial time in the holidays.

WiiU is making good strides in Japan, which is awesome news (I sure hope it can go against my own words and become a great seeling system, only time will tell) but I want to hear more about the other two 8th gen consoles.

How big do you think the sales are? Are you worried that this 8th generation is extremely front-loaded and that sales will drop of quite heavily after the holidays?

sony announced figures after their launches. ms was a response.

They can´t anounce things that didn´t happened...yet.

Sony and MS will hit the 3mi mark at about the same time at the end of this month... Or Sony could anounce this Friday if they had realy delivered a big shipment to US retailers, only confirmed was Amazon and a 2 days stock.

I don't think there is going to be an announcement for every millions sold.
The next announcement should be 5 millions.

I am sure atleast MS will announce every milestone they can reach, since they have seem to have the need to "show off" towards Sony in this race.

MS only "shows off" when Sony makes some kind of announcement.

MS will say 3 million first, a bit later Sony will claim 4 million and troll MS again lmao.

I don´t believe that for a second unless they announce it shortly. They announced the millionmark and when they passed 2 million, it would only benefit them to also announce reaching 3 million. The financials aren´t far off but considering their need for publicity, they would announce it.
