Yeah he has done alot of bad things and lied about others but i think that's the US political system as a whole. It's so flawed and backward at the moment and i don't think race has anything to do with. In general, there is low respect or trust for politicians, due to the corruption, lying and economic interests. Obama is more of the same of Bush

I don't think you know what a deficit is; although if you are a republican, that doesn't surprise me. It's not the amount of money which is borrowed, it is the amount of debt that that is left over on an annual basis.

Bush Junior left office with a 1.413 billion dollar deficit, and Obama has lowered it year by year to 680 billion, or less than half of the mess that Bush Junior's government left the US with.

You do realise it's a global recession that many countries still haven't recovered fully from and actually the US is tracking way ahead of many other Western economies in it's recovery... thought not.

They (Fox News Viewers) have yet to hold George Bush Jr accountable for the mess he created and the war he took this country in that was complete nonsense. They call obama trying to take the road less traveled and create a positive relationship with the middle east "Bowing down to towel heads" and they think all muslims want to kill christians, all blacks want to kill "Whitey", Obama is a muslim born in kenya who hates white people and wants to enslave them and if you're white and care about minorities you're suffering from a case of "White guilt". When you tell them how stupid they sound they say "You're brainwashed by the liberal media and you need to wake up". 

As a country we need to start thinking outside the box we can't continue to burn bridges and go to war with EVERYBODY. The old line of thinking "If you're our enemy we're going to crush you" doesn't work, we have been doing that for years and that is why we are hated as a country. We need to pull out of these stupid wars and find a way to have a peaceful relationship with our enemies and Obama is trying to accomplish that.

The only reason Barack Obama is not seen as raising the deficit to 1.414 trillion (not billion) dollars in his first year in office is because you haven't read the whole story. Democrats knew Bush was a lame duck president and they wouldn't pass the bills for him to sign to fund the government. (This should sound very familiar now that the situation is reversed and we know you are holding that Republican House responsible, not President Obama) Out of the 14 large budget bills they pass each year, they only passed 7 and Bush signed them. The other seven they didn't pass and instead kept going with a continuing resolution which Bush signed because otherwise the government shuts down in those unfunded areas.

Barack Obama is elected. The Democratic Congress goes back now and finishes those 7 remaining fiscal bills to fund the government for 2009 (Shorthand FY2009) and when they do finish them, they fill them up with his stimulus plan and everything else he wanted that blew up the deficit to that number 1.414 for FY2009. Each year after that he continue borrowing a similar amount but now he was responsible for all 14 funding bills and signed them all.

Once Republicans took back the House, Democrats refused to engage the budget process again because they knew Republicans wanted cuts. So they didn't even engage in the process and ran the government on a continuing resolution for nearly three years.

When Bush had a Republican House the average yearly deficit was around $250 billion. When Democrats took the House in 2006, it immediately jumped to $400 billion in FY2008 and in FY2009 it went to $1.414 trillion. However you can check the reality yourself. Bush did not sign those bills. They were signed by Barack Obama and held over by the Democratic Congress because they could see the writing on the wall with regard to election outcomes.

I do realize that with the U.S. as the number one economy in the world that when the U.S. sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold. That is understood yes. The U.S. had been driving the world economy during the ten other recessions from the end of WWII until now as well. The world has never been expected to support the U.S. economy, quite the reverse. Likewise there was some discussion this time about how BRIC ROW (Brazil, Russia, India, China, Rest or World) might be able to be independent of the U.S. economy now. They haven't been but the point remains, it is the worst recovery from a recession in the modern era.

I'm sure that Obama allowing Iran to get nukes, screwing over Syria, engaging in the "right" war in Afghanistan and killing plenty of people with drones while not closing Guantanamo Bay all justify the silly stereotypes in your head.

What's the big deal if Iran gets a nuke? China has nukes, why do we just single out Iran and not china? Any country is going to get a nuke if they want and there's nothing we can do to stop them because technology is making it easy to create things like nukes. 

I've never said Obama was perfect, he's wrong for the drone strikes but then again all presidents have killed innocent lives with drone strikes. My point was obama is doing a good job for all the nonsense he has had to face with the republican house which is rated at an all time low.
