Week 1:    643 153 (week of black friday)
Week 2:    594 782 (first week of december)
Week 3:    750 000 (european xmas sales uptake)
Week 4: 1 025 000 (xmas sales in all territories uptake)
Week 5: 1 241 211 (japan new years holiday uptake)
Week 6:    725 008 (last week of december)

3DS this year

Its not going to make 15mil? you dont think it'll be up YoY? I put 11mil in the op for a reason, we have it actually at 11.8-11.9mil as of Nov 30th. Wat i did was act like it was overtracked by 800k-900k just in case if it were true. So 11mil and it needs 4mil more by years end in 5 weeks, you dont thnk it will easily make that with pokemon/zelda + 2DS and Bundles? Also PDZ releases in japan on the 12th which will be japans biggest holiday game in sales, even beating FFX-X2/LoZ/GE2 with ease!

i dunno for sure.  it's really just a hunch I have from watching the constant re-adjustments our numbers get.  15M is pretty safe probably.  ..but i don't think the 1M a week average for the rest of the year is.  like i said, i think vgchartz numbers are optimistic atm.


I kno these VGC numbers O.o Thats why i want to make sure we dnnt get overexcited! I left it at a mil and im sure 3DS this holidy is doing much much better than lat years. NPD shows that vgc #s  on 3DS have been accurate and japan numbers we get weekly anywa from MC+Fam. Only Europe is hard to tell. If BF numbers are true however (even if overtracked by 100k-200k) it definitely shows that this holiday can avg 1mil a week imo! That 2DS low price point is definitely helping

yeah, we'll see.  i checked your profile and it said you joined 2012.  not sure if you lurched prior but i think it was 20120 ps3 got a 1M adjustment and 2011 360 got a 1.5M adustment.  sort of jaded since that.    ...if 3ds hits 16M it's pretty save that even with adjustments 15M was reached.

yeah somebody mentioned that! Also ps3+x360 not to long ago got major adjustments if i recall, ps3 overtracked by 1.4mil (it was in like 3 different adjustments in the past 2-3 months. Well VGC has it at 11.8mil, i just hope they aint soooo off :-/ I'll keep it in my mind as 11mil so i wont be let down!!!!!

That was using vgchartz numbers but if I have to bet, we need official numbers. Don't you agree?
