I think it will fall short of the 2 million figure, but 1.5-1.6 million is in my opinion achievable.

Why people think that Sony is manufaturing all the units for that week NOW??, Those units have been manufactured months ago...What is manufacturing today are the units for 2014.
2M LTD certain, 2M that week small chance by their prediction of 5M to FY13 won't make 3M for Nov 29... unless Sony gave a small prediction just to show a big improvement and raise their ratings.

possible, the PS4 will probably sell 1 mil+ in EU and supposedly Sony will be shipping out another batch of PS4's( I only say as the gamestop manager told me this....don't know if it's company wide)
so maybe 1.3-1.5 mil for EU opening week
and another 300k-500k in NA/CAN
I made some calculations and after seeing somewhere that ps2 sold 160k 1st week in UK and 70k in France, combining 500k units in all Europe.

I'm confident that Sony has manufactured a lot more with PS4 and it will sell twice that amount considering NA numbers. In USA considering they were reserving PS4 during this week for BF next week, i think they're capable of selling 500+k units in NA.
So, i'm almost sure that at least PS4 will sell 1'5 million that week, but i won't be surprised if it reaches 2 million.

wow im not sure if this is serious or not...
do you really think every single ps4 made was sold at its launch and they need to make more and ship them before anyone gets more?
is making a few million in 2-3 weeks impossible? yes, but NO ONE is saying thats the case. The PS4 has been in production since june/july and sony themselves said itll get up to a million a month. The stock we say will be sold is sitting in stores and warehouses across the world already. Sony is sending alot of shipments, not just a couple, and they dont wait for the first shipment to sell before sending more. so the time it takes from factory to the store is not how long it takes until we see more units.
