But Sony have to give enough shipments !

And unfortunately, with the rumours everywhere, stores in EU has received not enough PS4 promised

For exemple, on a store with 75 preordred PS4, there are 5-7 PS4 received !!

do you really think every single ps4 made was sold at its launch and they need to make more and ship them before anyone gets more?

 

is making a few million in 2-3 weeks impossible? yes,  but NO ONE is saying thats the case.  The PS4 has been in production since june/july and sony themselves said itll get up to a million a month.  The stock we say will be sold is sitting in stores and warehouses across the world already.   Sony is sending alot of shipments, not just a couple, and they dont wait for the first shipment to sell before sending more.  so the time it takes from factory to the store is not how long it takes until we see more units.

PS4 mass production started in late august and early september lol. I'm pretty sure if it started that early, we would be seeing massive day one required updates on all PS4s.

i think it's possible but it all comes down to supply.

i think sony reserved about 1M for europe launch. so how many will they have for NA's black friday? i think half a million is too low but maybe now quite a full million. if it falls short it won't be by too much. maybe like 1.7M WW.

edit:  Ive seen sources in dated in june saying it was about ready to start, and that components were being shipped, and i can find reports at the end of august that its in mass production,  so its sometime between them

Do you have a better source on them starting that early? Also after looking around a bit, most websites reported august/september, so i just put it in between.

Do you have a better source on them starting that early? Also after looking around a bit, most websites reported august/september, so i just put it in between.

ill keep looking, but all i can find is sites saying in june components are shipped,  and august reports its in production.   I just considered it started  june/july since thats when they started getting all the components, but its true they may not have officially started until august, so i miss spoke.

still it has been in production for a while and any units in stores now and sold this weekend were built well before 2-3 weeks ago.
