The score is beyond awesome. A game with 6 characters and 1 game mode is sitting on 74 and could yet go up. Gamespot among others that have already previously said the game was great have yet to review. It could well end up 78ish yet. All reviewers say the game is really great. Just down marked for content. When its re reviewed in March with the new content added this is gonna meta 90+ easy. The media love it. |

'I' dont.
But this is important to people. And its fantastic for Microsoft. It means 2 things. More Rare rival IP's will come. And next gen fighting fans ave a reason to buy a next gen machine either now, or wait till March when Season 1 is added to the game. Very awesome times for Rare Ip fans and fighting game fans.
Now your doing KI right Microsoft give us a new Banjo Kazooie 3 or Conker or Blast Corps or Jet Force Gemini. Battletoads????
As an X Ninty gamer this is FRIGGIN AWESOME.
This is also great news for Double Helix, even though they have some crew' in the place that worked on some of the most highly rated games of all time such as Sacrifice it proves they are capable of doing more than horrible movie-cash in's.

Just judging from the reviews the only downside is the lack of content, other than that the game is phenomenal. If the game launched with all the content planned for season one(story, all 8 chacters, etc.) it would likely score mid-high 80's.
To bad its not the 90s and people care about traditional fighters, as least as far as selling systems is concerned
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
I am very excited to see KI coming back to a console! I only have one wish.
PLEASE PLEASE bring back CINDER

Looks really good, as a fighting fan I really like what I see. Though I am disappointed at the lack of characters and therefore I'm not surprised it has received mixed mediocre and good scores across the board. Definitely one I'll pick up once it gets an adequate character count in order. But until that moment, Pass.

Are you that desperate?
The reviewers say it is one of the best fighters for ages. Its down marked "currently" for content.
Its pretty unanimous that its got the best mechanics as a fighter. Some saying when it gets more content in March it will be possibly the best fighter ever.
Keep trying though Kyliedog. Forgot that yu dont actually read the reviews. Just look at the scores. ROFL. In March when they all re review it will likely meta in the 90's.
A game with 6 characters and 1 mode scores the same as Killzone Shadowfall. Why? Because its gameplay is flawless.
This is tempting me to get a X1, but not at $500.
If you could buy in a $400, MS would have me. Dead Rising 3 looks like a lot of fun too. Shame.
