Obviously, you're not saying much since you're not making a lot of sense.
I'm looking forward to the X1 can't wait to play Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5. Might even give Ryse a try since it looks a lot better then it did earlier depends on reviews though.

lol, yeah. many of the same that, imo, put too much faith in xbox one due to xbox 360 as well. i'm reminded of the old adage past performance is not indicative of future results. we all saw sony stumble going from ps2 to ps3 so it's not like it was even that long ago we saw a significant shift in the market. ...and besides, it's not like the 360 even dominated the market. the amount of confidence some place in xbox is just,.. unjustified. it's a good brand now. it make massive gains this gen. ..but it still has to prove itself all over again and that reveal was just soo off-point.

Yeah, yeah. And the poor innocent Xbox/Nintendo fans have to suffer under this tyranny every day since the mods are all horribly biased towards Playstation and don't do anything about it. Seriously this phrase "he got banned for this, even though XXX fans do that all the time"(which is very often used in connection with Playstation/Sony) is so absolutely childish that I wouldn't mind if it was a bannable offense.

Launching with the device is a great idea and will be a success, the only people who compain about this, are usually only those who where not going to buy the system in the first place. having the device from the beginning will get games to use in all different ways and get the attention it deserves. I can see FPS games allowing you to peak around corners or many different combinations of actions. Reasons why most articles are spin. 1. Launch games are not going to be to close to full potential, and are not going to be for some time. Look at what Halo 4 Achieved 2. There is a learning curve for any system, some are easier, some are not. Time is needed, it's new! 3. Xbox One will Achieve 1080p 60fps on multi-plats and has already on first party game Forza.
Now we will get lots of spin and pounding of the chest in here, try to keep it civil.

MS is to blame, they are the ones who have created this situation..
PS3 was crapped on for years, and so is vita and wii-u.... You are looking at this in a very one sided manner.

Can't change it though, I think they kind of like acknowledging threads like this, more fuel to the fire. |
You forgot a few other ewasons.
1. MS tried to implement draconian DRM schemes and required an every 24 hour check-in to play your games. They have since walked that back under intense pressure from the gaming community and the media.
2. They are selling a technically inferior (well have to see if the eSRAM ever delivers any performance gains later into its lifecycle) machine for $100 more.
Forza is a racing game. There are racing games running at 1080/60 on current generation systems. First example that comes to mind is Wipeout HD on the PS3. Racing games are not demanding. To a lesser extent, this applies for fighting games & some sports games also. You will never ever see a demanding AAA FPS or open world title running at 1080/60 on Xbox One, ever. If I am not too bored, I might make a thread later and explain why, with technical details. In short, Xbone doesn't have enough Shaders, enough ROPS, enough bandwidth for the task. Even the PS4 is just barely good enough for 1080/60.
Now regarding the Kinect. Sorry, we don't want it, it sucks. A camera watching me while I am playing video games, serves no purpose. Motion gaming is a fad. And the fact that Microsoft crippled their hardware budget, to include that overpriced & overengineered camera in the box for 500 dollars, makes me even more angry.
