Also as Xbox fans, I normally see Sony fans posting a majority of negative article's for Xbox One. Now the internet has way more Playstation fans then Xbox but we should take a page out of their book. You won't find as many articles because of the make up of the internet but be sure if you see something to rush over, post it! This site needs some balance. I usually only post MS articles but be sure I will be posting Sony news. As that is what always happens here.

Lol he got banned for telling people to do what sony fans do all the time. So the action is ok,  just not saying it.  Lol

This shows some conflict.

Yeah, yeah. And the poor innocent Xbox/Nintendo fans have to suffer under this tyranny every day since the mods are all horribly biased towards Playstation and don't do anything about it. Seriously this phrase "he got banned for this, even though XXX fans do that all the time"(which is very often used in connection with Playstation/Sony) is so absolutely childish that I wouldn't mind if it was a bannable offense.

Just ban everyone all the time. seems ur answer. Lol You should get banned for calling me childish

I won't comment on the consoles themselves as the topic is focusing in this community.

I agree x 1 has become a punching bag and there are two reasons for that.

1. Something has to take hits pre launch in close releases, xbox has had more weak spots exposed and sony kept better secrets. A lot of things said about xbox are past things that are no longer true but I think this website is beyond that at the very least.

2. Fanboys try to swing sales of the undecided gamers. it happens for every console and we don't see it from MS this time around because they don't have any sexy leverage. News of the resolution disparity gave sony fanboys an easy clinger, not that power wasn't always their main argument but the technicality of it only made it an easy argument.

Things will be what they will be but it would be nice if people didn't cling so much on aged established news. We see the same threads posted by different people word for word, and when it's not the exact same the topic does not change, it gets old rather quickly. Basically we have a lot of dedicated marketer here that may or may not be getting profits from the sales.

Can't change it though, I think they kind of like acknowledging threads like this, more fuel to the fire.

You forgot a few other ewasons.

1. MS tried to implement draconian DRM schemes and required an every 24 hour check-in to play your games. They have since walked that back under intense pressure from the gaming community and the media.

2. They are selling a technically inferior (well have to see if the eSRAM ever delivers any performance gains later into its lifecycle) machine for $100 more.

OK the problem with number 1 is most gamers are always connected anyway so it's a nit pick deal just for the heck of it. It isn't something that really bothers the people that are always Online arguing about it. So it's a point I would forget about because it's a non issue.

The problem with number 2 is included in the original post of this thread. You did just what he said always happens fulfilling the steriotype. You called the price into play assuming the kinnect didn't exist. it''s pretty ovious that's why the system cost more but it's always conveniently left out.

^Yes that's me ripping it up in the GIF. :)

I like Microsoft and Sony. That being said, the way MS came out with its proposed new policies, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, the way they decided to release that info to the public, were both HUGE missteps and have made them an extremely easy target for jokes and hate. No matter what side you are on or if you a neutral, it is still hard to deny they screwed up major on their X1 reveal. But at least they realized that and to the best of their ability corrected it, which I personally, respect them for.

How has Ryse outshined Killzone Shadowfall? While I like online services on Xbox considerably more than PSN, Sony has over and over again released exclusives that are waaay better than MS. The only people who don't agree with this are people who don't own Sony products.

So I chose no.  It is not my punching bag.  It certainly was at first for a short time right after the reveal, but when they righted the ship I was ok with it.  If the X1 ends up being great I will surely get one down the road a bit, prob after first price drop.

/EDIT:  Sidenote:  What is the point of this thread.  It seems like baiting to piss people off...Play whatever one you like.  I'm sure they will both have good aspects.

Seems that this site has turned into a bashing fest for all fans opposing Xbox One. Most talk on this site has been focused on Multi-plats, yet thats about where the story ends. Xbox has done a great job on first party and has in my opinion, a way better launch line up. So the focus obviously has been on Launch Multiplats that are rushed out. Not only rushed but on a new systems. No one is denying that PS4 has more power, but by how much?  This site would have you believe Xbox One is actually the atari 2600. However Ryse has yet to be outshined.

One factor that is always, ALWAYS left out is? Kinect 2.0, a great piece of hardware that will not be ignored by the public or gamers alike. Not only will it not be ignored but will be a major selling point for the system.  You will see a lot of posts that complain about the extra $100 but completely leave out and ignore Kinect, as if it's not even a part of the deal. Personally I think paying a extra $100 for the device is a great deal and will serve them in the future. Launching with the device is a great idea and will be a success, the only people who compain about this, are usually only those who where not going to buy the system in the first place. having the device from the beginning will get games to use in all different ways and get the attention it deserves. I can see FPS games allowing you to peak around corners or many different combinations of actions.

Reasons why most articles are spin.

1. Launch games are not going to be to close to full potential, and are not going to be for some time. Look at what Halo 4 Achieved

2. There is a learning curve for any system, some are easier, some are not. Time is needed, it's new!

3.  Xbox One will Achieve 1080p 60fps on multi-plats and has already on first party game Forza.

Now we will get lots of spin and pounding of the chest in here, try to keep it civil.

Umm that works for both.....Laucnh games on PS4 don't use all of it's potential either. Both will improve over time, the gap will remain..

But didnt Microsoft also want a used game fee?

Thats an assumption I wouldn't make. so far the difference only lies in res yet th games are identical. if x one make 1080p the norm were would the gap be? ps4 pushing 4k regularly? I doubt that.

He called your actions childish, not you childish. Huge difference.

Also welcome to the site!

It's not the Xbox One, which is the problem per se, IT IS THE MICROSOFT, and their deceitful, sinister, bullying plans! Let me give a few examples:

They don't know how to design hardware

Original Xbox is the largest console to date. Just plain ugly.

Xbox 360 has this ginormous power brick. I have never seen any other console with an external power brick in my life and MS did it.

Xbox One is bulkier, heavier, weaker and more expensive than PS4. It's not only ugly but also comes with, you know, a huge power brick!

Another reason why MS don't give a shit about consumers. They could easily drop the price to $399 and easily be competitive in the US (not so much in the rest of the world). But no, they want to exploit the Xbox fans first.

Their despicable gaming policies and hideous 180 turns etc are among many other reasons why we hate MS and their unwanted off spring Xbone.

Ok, let me count a bit more...

They have this hideous Graphical UI, Direct 3D (and DirectX in general), you know... Why do they still have it, instead of adopting the Open GL, like everybody else? No, they have to own the propriatory API so that they can blackmail people to do everything their way. DirectX 10 is available only for Vista and later, so that they can push people to the newer releases. This is also why DirectX 11.2 is only available to Windows 8. Likewise newer versions of Internet Explorer and Sky Drive or many other MS software is only available for Vista or later.

They do not only want to manage everything you do, their way they want you to do, but also they want you to be their slave and keep feeding them with every other new windows release. Sony has no such agenda. Yes, they wanna capitalize on music, video, games etc business as well, but you are never forced to do, there are many other alternatives. They are not in a position to harness forced network effects with a PC ecosystem.

Umm every site, person that has PLAYED each version states'THE PS4 version is clearly superior". It is NOT an assumption that PS4 games will also improve, it is not a microsoft only thing. The hardware is the hardware, there is a gap in power, notihng you say changes that. Games look vastly diff in motion then random stills of specific spots.

Also ONLy resolution? Resolutoon alone can be a big difference, 1080P versus 720P is near twice the pixels , detail and real estate to render.

So then we should split that into a number 2 and:

3. They bundled it with a camera peripheral a lot of people absolutely do not want.

So far there have been so many missteps on the part of team Xbox it's not a wonder why the Xbox One is a technological punching bag at this point.
