i'm going to list off the phases i've seen since i've been on this site:
punching bag = 360 for RRoD. punching bag = ps3 for $599 punching bag = wii for casual games punching bag = wii for massive sales drop aka fad punching bag = ps3 for psn hack punching bag = 3DS for no games at launch punching bag = ps vita for shit-tacular sales and no games punching bag = wiiU for shit-tacular sales and no games punching bag = xbox one for anti-consumer policies
...my only question is why are xbox fans so sensitive? sony and nintendo fans weathered their shit storms with far more grace.

I've come across a few Xbox fans (hopefully the ones I'm referring to are the fringe minority) from the very beginning who believed that just because Microsoft has deep pockets they will create a kickass console what will rule over all. Well Nintendo is still around and so is Sony regardless of their financial woes. And look how more financially stable Microsoft is compared to Nintedo and Sony combined. I've come to the conclusion that these fans in particular were putting too much faith in Microsoft's cash flow instead of catering to the gaming market since this is console gaming that we are talking about.

lol, yeah. many of the same that, imo, put too much faith in xbox one due to xbox 360 as well. i'm reminded of the old adage past performance is not indicative of future results. we all saw sony stumble going from ps2 to ps3 so it's not like it was even that long ago we saw a significant shift in the market. ...and besides, it's not like the 360 even dominated the market. the amount of confidence some place in xbox is just,.. unjustified. it's a good brand now. it make massive gains this gen. ..but it still has to prove itself all over again and that reveal was just soo off-point.
