Around the Network

This plus 10h+ campaign = sold.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

how is being Crysis-like a good thing? Crysis is boring.

Crysis.....Gosh I hated that game. I hope it stays true to its roots.

i just hope the set pieces are still epic. other wise my hype level just died down a bit.

Is it really Crysis like, more just more Crysis like compared to how linear and generic KZ2 and 3 were.

I doubt its going to be as open as he said, seems like he just isn't used to slightly open areas in a KZ game. Anyway if true, good to see them learning from their past mistakes. Seems interesting now, previous KZ games were far too linear for my tastes.

They are just talking about the openness of the level. You can actually explore each sector that they allow freely until you get to the next part of the story. I like the concept. I agree that Crysis is all sorts of boring. I don't find KZ to be boring though and I've always wanted more additions to the campaign so this is welcomed if anyone but Crytek is behind it.

So it's like I've been saying. You can compare this structure with Medal of Honor: Airborne. (the Crysis comparison isn't good, imo). You could spawn at any place in the map and start doing objectives as you feel like, without any order.

Ok, If that makes you feel better. I am just saying what the guy who played it said. A lot of surprises about the story have been popping up lately.

It doesn't make me feel better. Crysis is a linear game, whereas Medal of Honor: Airborne isn't, for the most part. The guy who played it is misleading, and you are as well since you implied something wrong by quoting the guy at hand.  (Non-linear =/= Campaign is Crysis-like in its approach)
