Why didn't they revise hardware?
One would think they had some cards in their sleeves, but that's hardly believable.

Maybe they thought it would be a fun joke for shareholders to laugh about at the investors briefing.

Strange, I looked thru Nintendo's report and didn't find the negative shipment there. Anybody have a source on this shipments figures per region?

And man, 460K WiiU shipped HY and they still want to reach 9m in march... 

EDIT 3DS still down YoY despite numerous long sellers, the target is likely to be missed here as well

With the upcoming Wii U games the sales will definitely rise dramatically. I can even see it sell more than PS4 and Xbox One.

But 9 Mio until march is impossible, since Mario Kart 8 release is in april.

Basically Nintendo spent in Q2 200M more than what they earned in the same timeframe, excluding interests, taxes, currency exchanges and other stuff.

But Vinnie or Kowenicki can explain it way better than me.

AFAIK it means how much they made from the actual business, as opposed to external factors like exchange rates. If not for the falling value of the yen, they wouldn't have made any money.
