As for Eat Sleep Play...did you see me type Eat Sleep Play?  No, I didn't.  Why?  Becuse I wasn't talking about ESP.  I was talking about David Jaffe himself who is indeed tinkering with iOS stuff.

I'm not sure i like the idea of Nintendo being bought by anyone, but Disney is the only company i wouldn't mind too much. This is of course only cause i'd love a Hyrule or Mushrom Kingdom themed Disney World.

I agree with Jaffa, Nintendo needs to expand their library,

Suggesting to sell to Disney is a tad ill-informed. Disney is hardly a company interested in making a game good, aside from a few sections like Pixar and the people who make Gravity Falls, they are a business driven company. They wouldn't be interested a game series unless it could sell 1 million at the very least and completely disregard consoles if they get a hand in Nintendo. They would kill niche and hinder creativity

Fusion, it's not based on a rumor, it's based on personal knowledge inside the industry.  While nothing is likely to ever see a commercial release, he is indeed messing about in iOS.

@Ducks, he may be doing that too.  As someone not directly tied to any contracts right now, he's free to tinker with any open system or closed system he's licensed for.

 

My initial post was to point out the irony of someone lambasting others for not doing anything new when the majority of his own career has been based around one franchise.

He says he is a big Nintendo fan so its not like he is attacking them he just generally thinks that. And the title should be altered a little cause it seems like David is attacking Nintendo with your title when in fact he is raising some valid points.

The ones who have to preface their statements with "i'm a Nintendo fan, but..." are always the worst. The ones who make no claim to care about Nintendo do better in ignoring them altogether, rather than the faux-fans who deride them.
