Is this phrase foreign to you?   Because where I come from it implies that he could have worked on more things but primarily worked on one for a longer priod than the others.  Get your idioms straight before you inculpate someone.

As for Eat Sleep Play...did you see me type Eat Sleep Play?  No, I didn't.  Why?  Becuse I wasn't talking about ESP.  I was talking about David Jaffe himself who is indeed tinkering with iOS stuff.
