You mean 2DS right? I lve the 3DS design apart from the lack of dual analogue. 3DS XL even more so.

I played soccer for a while when I was younger and I did enjoy it. I enjoyed playing Baseball and football more though (Volleyball is probably the funnest sport to actually play in my opinion though). I also played basketball and was really into ping pong for a while too and then Cross Country/Track. Soccer just isn't really something I enjoy to watch though because of how slow pace it is ( no offense). It's comparable to Hockey but Hockey players go super fast and there are fights to entertain you throughout the slower parts of the game scoring wise. Another thing I dislike about soccer (and again I mean no offense by this) is the amount of faking that players do. I mean, it occurs in every sport I know, but in soccer if they barely get touched they like do a backflip as if somebody drilled them lol. The only thing I can think of that is that fake is when kickers (American football) pretend like somebody hit them really hard when they get barely touched. I don't like fakeness in any sport.

I don't take any offense to your opinion, I think the same about Baseball and (American) Football lol. I've tried watching them and they're just slow and boring and for me lacking the pace and spontaneity that Football/Soccer provides.

However, you're definitely following the wrong football if you find it slow paced, you do get some dull games but that happens in any sport, at it's best, it's the most action oriented and fastest sport there is (that doesn't involve vehicles or ice). My team conceded within 95 seconds today >_

The 2DS is definitely not going to be a god send, but it shouldn't do horrible. Especially when the Holidays arrive.

I could understand the marketing of it, but how on earth did they figure there was a market for this? I assumed it was based on real studies, so that is really odd.

2DS hasnt lifted off just yet, dont underestimate that price this holiday. Its going to outsell the regular 3DS model, maybe even the XL

Like Rol said, the UK market is quite different and it's more about stores competing with each other. If you want consoles being discounted for bad sales, look at the Vita and Wii U.

It was bundled with Moshi Monsters and Lego LoTR this week, both have had significant boosts.

Well it was being sold for £99 as a pre-order from some online retailers, so I don't think this is really a price drop unless you've been looking in the more expensive shops. We should hold back on the assumptions of sales until there are more concrete figures. And who knows, it could well pick up closer to Christmas.
