2DS is doing fine, I saw two ADULTS (YES ADULTS) walking around the CBD here playing them. I was shocked at first but i got to hold one from one of the guys it isn't that bad. I can see the practicality of it.

Holiday special start earlier and earlier each yer. plus it was DS games not 3DS ones.

Here easter eggs are on shelves in january now on sale lol. Soon they will inviade December haha.

Not sure if your trying to get me mad or something, but a couple of things:

1. St. Louis is Cardinal nation (baseball). We aren't obsessed with the Rams or the Blues, though we do obviously enjoy them having success. We're all a little too happy with the Cardinals making it to the World Series to get upset over the other two teams atm (no matter how much they may/may not struggle).

2. We are hardly out of the playoff race. We almost have as many wins as we do losses, and our losses have ( in general) come against some pretty good teams.

3. I went to Francis Howell Central High School, cause I'm from St. Louis so I figured I'd just go ahead and answer the "St. Louis Question" right off the bat.

The ignorance is almost palpable. Retailers set their own prices in Europe. Furthermore, many retailers are offering free DS games in order to shift EXCESS stock that have accumulated over the years that they have yet to sell. This is a smart strategy as they are preparing storage and shelf space for next-gen and they are offering un-parralled value to the consumer while cutting their losses.

This is not about how the 2DS is selling badly - the holiday season is coming and retailers are already starting their deals and need the available shelf space + storage.

I was intrigued by the Cardinals as I was in St Louis during the Post Season Playoffs stuff. Cardinals definitely way way bigger than the Rams, though there was a lot of Tailgate party stuff for them. The Blues barely seem to have a presence.

Really don't get US sport at all though. I think I'll stick with football (Soccer) Up the Terriers! (Huddersfield Town) :p We never win anything we'll never be World Champions like the Cardinals have been, but we get stuck in and have a bloody good go lol.

I admit I didn't realise it was normal DS games, I just saw the Posters in town saying "2DS and 2 free games NOW  ONLY £99.99!"

However, you don't do that 2 weeks after the launch of a system unless you're concerned about the rate it's currently selling it. Bundling excess DS stock makes sense, but cutting the price of it doesn't. If it was flying off shelves, they would see no need to discount on top of bundling some free software.

I guess Argos doing the Vita for £139.99 with Killzone, Virtua Tennis and 8gb Memory card was also an "early offer" even though it ended on Tuesday? :p

We need to wait a little, I don't know if this is good or bad. Still, not looking good for Tbone's prediction.

Ninty took a road with no return with 2DS: now 2D display and mono sound are already obsolete and Ninty will have to release 1DS, with 1D screen and no sound at all!!!

As others have stated this doesn't actually mean anything concrete, but I am eager to be proven right that the 3DS is a poorly conceived model.
