I don't take any offense to your opinion, I think the same about Baseball and (American) Football lol. I've tried watching them and they're just slow and boring and for me lacking the pace and spontaneity that Football/Soccer provides.
However, you're definitely following the wrong football if you find it slow paced, you do get some dull games but that happens in any sport, at it's best, it's the most action oriented and fastest sport there is (that doesn't involve vehicles or ice). My team conceded within 95 seconds today >_
