I'm not suggesting that we categorically refuse to support publishers based on what they do or do not do. If EA ever made a game that i wanted to buy (and put it on a platform i owned), i would buy it, despite being EA.

The point i'm trying to make (now with less vitriol as i've calmed down a touch) is that you can never trust these guys. Be grateful for what's there, buy it if you like it, but know that even the "good" ones (like Warner Bros, Capcom, Sega, and Ubisoft) are going to screw the Nintendo base at times and for unfathomable reasons. Fairness simply doesn't exist for us (Ports to handhelds, in your example, are another matter entirely. Handheld owners should simply expect screw-age from Western third parties in general)

or far more likely...

...nintendo console owners such as yourself simply don't want these games.

Or just as likely, Nintendo console owners are multi-console owners. In the case of Injustice and NFS:MW, both of which I own on Wii U. I had to make a concerted effort to buy both games. I had to wait a half a year for NFS, most people in my situation would have bougt the game on PC, 360, or PS3.  I own all those platforms. In the case of Injustice, I literally could have bought the PS3 or 360 version twice before I even had the opportunity to buy the Wii U version. The most discouraging part of this is that ultimately I had to work harder just to buy a DLC gimped version of each. NFS for Wii U had no DLC support and Injustice has had poor DLC support and gimped on-line play. This is why 3rd party games have such a hard time on Nintendo platforms. You literally have to work to buy games that are often inferior versions to their more readily available counterparts.

i dont mean to sound rude but IMHO this sounds like a you problem and not a 3rd party problem. Who in there right mind would actively seek out WORST versions of games for...hell i dont know. I cant think of a logical reason to do that especially when you can play the versions that get the support and arent late.

How exactly was I suppose to know that they were going to shaft Wii U owners on DLC?

@Kitler53

Nintendo. They published the game. It's there duty to market it and make sure it readily available for purchase.

did you buy the game day 1? cause if you didnt it was pretty evident early on that there was DLC problems with Injustice. ANd i was mostly reffereing to you jumping through hoops to get the Wii U version. Why do that when you could have easily bought the PS3 version that was relatively easy to get. It be one thing if it had noticable improvements over the PS3 version but from what i understand it didnt even have that.

As I've said multiple times, I bought the game at launch. I was planning on buying every multi-plat for Wii U over the PS3/360 versions simply because neither the PS4 nor XB1 are backward compatible. I'd like to get rid of my current gen consoles. The only reason I held onto my Wii is because I need it to play my GC games.

I look forward to buying this for 5 dollars on a steam or amazon digital sale in 6 months.

My buddies and I are grabbing the PC version.

fair enough but you're gonna be keeping your current consoles anyway, as you said the PS4 xbone arent backwards compatible and Wii u has missed alot of games that came to PS360 and i dont see that changing anytime soon

Though looking at this a bit more logically, Nintendo is only backwards compatible to a point.  GC compatibility was cut out of the Wii U when it's Technically possible (Serioiusly how much are the controller ports and mini disc reading drive?), NES, SNES, and N64 aren't compatibile with each other.  Nintendo cut backwards compatibility with its handhelds every 2 generations (GBC does not work with NDS, GBA does not work with 3DS, etc).  I personally think the best way to go for "compatibility" is PC.  Even that is a toss up with so many older titles.
