Where the Hell is the Third Sonic Game? Delayed? We learned that all3 exclusives were to come to nintendo platforms this year?

WHATS GOING ON?

⇒Sonic+Mario Olympic Games (WiiU)

⇒Sonic Lost World (WiiU/3DS)

⇒??? ???

Article is a couple months old I Know http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/06/all_three_of_nintendos_exclusive_sonic_titles_will_be_out_in_2013

I don't think it was ever said to be a "sonic exclusive" it could be something else entirely.

Also, anyone saying anything relating to sonic appearing in any game as the "exclusive" is wrong. Just like megaman is not a Nintendo exclusive for being in Smash 4, it will be a full game all its own.

that last sentence makes no sense Sonic fans lean more toward a game if its exclusive? to truly know how good a game does in comparison you have to compare the MULTIPLATS, nothing else makes sense. Sonic benefits on the system that has the most consoles out there. PS2 versions of Heroes and Mega Collection did better. Wii version of Unleashed did the best. Sonic fans lean more toward GOOD games. Black Knight flopped hard on WIi but Generations did 1mil just on PS3 alone.

But if Sega thinks its smart to make a game exclusive to a system with the worst install base right now (even missing Ninty's own modest projections) then that is there right i just wanna know what the excuses will be when/if it fails. 200k would be terrible for a main Sonic game. and no Transformered wouldnt have sold 600k if it was exclusive that is silly, you really think people would have bought a WIi U to play that? HA there barely buying it to play Mario

I think it was saids Nintendo-exclusive, not WiiU. So instead to be on the system with the worst install base it could go to the system with the best install base between all next-gen-systems (=3DS).

problem with that is that Lost World isnt really a multiplat. From my understanding is that the two versions are gonna to have different levels. So it doesnt really apply

Edit: actually PS3 and 360 both have bigger install bases

If it doesn't happen, then oh well! ;)

What I mean is: The third Sonic-title could well be a 3DS-only-game.

EDIT: And I wrote next-gen-system, because not only PS3 and X360 and Wii, but also PS2, PS, DS and Gameboy all have higher install-bases. But in the next-gen 3DS is leading and this lead will not be end that fast (because technically WiiU is leading with next-gen home-console install-base, but after the release of the competition this lead will probably be fast over).

1. Sonic: Lost World Wii U
2. Sonic: Lost World 3DS
3. M&S at the olympic games

Makes perfect sense.

Now that I'm looking at your post and remembering, doesn't Sega count multiplatform releases as their own skus?

i see what you're saying but imho i dont think Sega is making that distinction. especially when it comes to portables they kind of exist on their own weird overlapped gen to gen world anyway. Plus if the two games are gonna be different then my original point stands as it being a silly move by putting it exclusively on a system that is struggling so hard. But hell maybe they dont even care, maybe they think/know the 3ds version will be enough?
