Forums - Gaming - How would you rate GTA V's graphics?

Amazing. Considering how far i can see and how detailed the little stuff is. I hope they stay with this engine for the next gen and set the bar again.

I'd rate it

I-wish-this-was-on-PC-so-it-can-have-better-draw-distance / 10

I know them feels.

Prime reason I bought San Andreas for PC. 10X draw distance hack for the win.

On par with Max Payne graphically. Because of how large the game is I'd say its great.

I actually think sleeping dogs is matching in terms of graphics but GTA 5 is way larger and diverse making it more impressive.. also flying and the underwater world its has..

I'm always impressed that the game is so massive and yet manages to offer so much detail. Every little thing has its own look, even the soda cans are fully textured and everything. Sure, the fps could be better and pop ups are a problem every now and then. But considering its running on very old hardware, I'm very impressed. I can't wait for the Next Gen Version and I have absolutely no problem with paying full price for that game again. I'm 20 hours in and I'm almost certain it's my game of the generation.

It looks fantastic outside of a less than stellar framerate while driving.

GTA looks much better than Sleeping Dogs. The game is a bit better looking than RDR but on par graphically with Max Payne, which was probably the last game to come out before GTA from Rockstar.

Good. The style is realistic without being dreary, and characters are stylized enough to avoid the uncanny valley. From what I've seen, the frame rate and draw distance could be better, but those aspects manage to not get in the way of fun. Being able to smoothly fly across the map in a jet is what impresses me the most, and is main the reason why I think GTAV will hold up to its early next-gen open-world competition (Infamous, Dead Rising, X, Witcher 3).

Basically, this is what we should hope from games with massive budgets and years of development time behind them.

When it takes advantage of draw distance and impressive lighting effects, it is the best there is in my opinion.

Up there with the best, simply because of the size of the world.

And Id like to add, flying over Los Santos at night time is incredible
