Question: what genre is that "nintendo" and there arem'r enough offers aside from the "nintendo" games?

well,I'm talking about nintendo franchises. I'm sure you know what they are. That's the only reason I bought the 3ds. It's a good system,but I've only played it a handful of times. I just can't seem 2 get into handhands. I'm sure there's other things besides nintendo games,but I've just never explored those options. It just all depends on your taste in games.

And most people don't actually seem to realize just how many great games the WiiU has. But that's not the point. PS3 and 3DS have way more great games than Vita and WiiU.

I've got 5 full fat retail Wii U games and Duck Tales so far :D love Pikmin.

PS3 obviously has more games than Wii U, once Nintendo's second gen titles hit that will be completely m00t because they will be exclusive must plays, but PS3 had a what? 6-7 year headstart.

3DS doesn't have way more great games than the Vita though, anybody who has actually accessed the Vita library can tell you that. It does have more great exclusives, but not more great games.

To explain a little on that: I think the quality of a system is mostly defined by the games. Sony has done a bit to make the Vita better, it had gotten some good games. But it is not enough yet to challenge the 3DS.

The 3DS does have a lot of great first party content.  I decided to wait for the Wii U and play all of Nintendo's first party titles on that system instead of the 3DS.  Looks like most people did the opposite

With that being said, I really enjoy the games on the Vita (Ragnarok Odyssey, Persona 4 Golden, Guacamelee, Sound Shapes, Hot Shots Golf, Uncharted).  If I didn't have a Wii U, I would be a 3DS owner and state the game library is superior.  It doesn't surprise me that some people feel Vita has a stronger library, but it is obvious that opinion is in the minority.

The upcoming games on the Vita look good as well (Ys Celceta, Tearaway, Killzone), so I feel that the system is still being supported.  By the time I play those games, I feel I have gotten my moneys worth out of the Vita, so I don't regret the purchase.

I may eventually own a 3DS because Fire Emblem on the 3DS looks awesome and Bravely Default (when it comes over) also looks fun.  Based on current sales trends, it looks like it will be the device that will be supported longer term (3+ years) from now.

not in a million years, but the thing is daddys buy toys for kiddies and alot of people sees the 3ds as a toy, meanwhile the Vita is for a more mature audience, and this mature audience stick with their smartphones so thats why the Vita doesn't sell like Sony want to, also Sony screw up the handheld name, I was like wth ? is called Vita ?, because millions of users of the PSP will right away will know Vita is succesor of the PSP right ?, Sony screw up big time with the name, I hope with the price reduction and different colors the vita...(ugh name) will gain momentum,.

The Vita is a toy, as is the 3DS
