Forums - Gaming - What Is The Biggest System Seller of All Time?

Smash Bros.!

Neither. Wii Sports destroyed everything because of the heavy bundling.

Wii sports and Wii fit.
If we were to choose a system seller for multiple system generations, then i'd say, Mario, Pokemon, Halo and Grand Turismo.

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

I would definitely put Pokemon ahead of Mario at this. People will buy Nintendo handhelds just for that series alone. Hell that would be my main reason to pick up a 3ds. With that said Halo is my main reason for getting an xbox, but there are other games I want to play as well. So Pokemon>Halo>Mario

Mario in general, as a franchise. If I had to pick one individual game though, Wii Sports.

Pretty simple..I mean what do you think?

It's either

Super Mario Bros. - NES
Tetris - Gameboy
Wii Sports - Wii

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Mario
Wii titles sold ONE system
Halo sold ONE system
Mario has sold SIX generations of systems now.

This. Plus Halo on Xbox. It's funny that Playstation never got those. I guess the variety of great games on their system have been all together their system seller.

Game of the year 2017 so far:
