Well, let's be honest right from the start. The 2DS tells us a few things about what Nintendo is thinking:

A) "Okay, we give up. We can't make hinges worth a crap."

2) "3D was a really, really dumb idea. We should have never stolen the technology in the first place!"

Seriously, they should have just gotten in touch with me. I could have helped. First, separate the 2 and the DS. Next, glue the 2 to the end of the DS. It should look something like this: "DS2". Because, really, "2DS" is the worst name since ... uh, "Wii U," actually.  EVERYTHING does 2D.  Well, except that Occular Rift thing.

Nevertheless, none of it will matter, because Pokemon.

Cause no one goes after kids like Nintendo.

I was talking Nintendo in general, of course.

Nintendo in general need help. They've lost their way.

If Nintendo has lost their way, does that mean that you've lost your way?  Does that mean that you've lost your pie?  Does that mean we don't get pie?  Why can't I have pie?  I've been doing a really good job with my diet and I want some pie.  I want some goddam pie!

lmao, imagine if 2DS is a huge impact as DS Lite O.o ... Im not saying it will but still. One thing for sure Oct 12th will be 3DS biggest day in its life (not counting holiday months Nov-Dec).

I don't think Nintendo's calling for help with the 2DS. I just think this is a poor attempt to get younger kids (like 4-8 years old) to buy their system. The name is going to throw parents off though, because it makes it sound like a crappy system instead of a crappy SKU (big difference). If a 6 year old wanted their parents to get them a 3DS for Christmas, they'll just end up buying a 3DS anyway, not a 2DS. Besides, most people I know play the 3DS without the 3D mode anyway, and my friends are past high school.

OK, that got off-topic, but those are just my thoughts about the 2DS I suppose. derp.

The Iwata era has become a cheap immitation of the Yamauchi era, in every, possible, way.

I'd disagree, the Wii U may have stumbled horrifically, but the Wii was fresh, different, and of Yamauchi's consoles, second only to the SNES.

Unless you mean the Wii U turning into a Gamecube 2.0, which is a real danger.
