Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One CPU Clocks In At ~1.9GHz

I wanna see someone get banned already.

It's weird. That number means absolutely nothing to me. Hmmm...go figure.

My work here is done, Al. Get me out of here.

it amazes me how people cant have a civil discussion anymore on this site or any site it seems. when any news wether its good or negative news about xbox or playstation or nintendo, someone who doesnt like that said company. comes in and says something negative about that company, people just need to grow the hell up and just enjoy the damn games, which is what gaming is about and not about a pissing contest. i am a developer, wether someone believes me or not, i could care less but u dont see me bashing a system, why? simple , because i love gaming, period....

and anybody else can tell us his take on that article already????

Credentials doesn't mean anything. He is claiming the website is wrong and lets not forget that the website has just the same credentials is not more. So what makes him right and semi accurate wrong?? All he did was put a bunch of words and numbers down that no one understands and put them up against a website who posted a bunch of words and numbers no one understands and he is trying to say he is right and they are wrong.

Mostly what I see is a bunch of people who sort of understand this stuff who can't figure out what Microsoft has done (customized). Because no matter what forum you go to the minute someone who "knows" something posts it the next post is correcting them and the next post corrects them.

Microsoft did a TON of customization so for anyone on here to try and claim this is right or wrong doesn't have the full picture yet.

How does this change any thing?

It doesn't. PS4 still more powerful than Xbone regardless if its 1.6 (as breakdowns/rumors from sites that got a lot of other info 100% right all point to) or its this 1.9 guesstimate.

how doesn't it change anything just because ps4 is still more powerful? my pc is weaker as the pc of permalite but i still benefit from overclocking my rig or putting something in it which is little bit better as what i have right now.

I believe I said "It doesn't." as in IT DOES NOT.

yes and i said "how doesn't it". like "it would obviously change something for people who buy an xbox one"

it doesn't always have to be xbox vs playstation. if someone will buy an xbox one and it has 1.9 instead of 1.6ghz he will probably recognize it anyhow even if it is still weaker as the ps4. it could even change something for games on ps4 if multiplat games can be developed with a stronger xbox one in mind.

lol oops, guess I can reel back in my snarky-ness.

The grand point of it all is unchanged. PS4 is still more powerful in every manner. Additionally, games FAR more defined by what the GPU can do than by the CPU. So even if this 1.9GHz is semi-accurate (pun intended), it won't make a bit of difference in the potential differences in games between PS4 and Xbone.

Facts are PS4 can very well have games that look / run better than Xbone regardless if Xbone's CPU is 1.6GHz or 1.9GHz.

This entire thread is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Especially considering its someone's best guess based on a report of other information.
