That's not really relevant here though; the publisher is Nintendo, what are they going to do, publish to a competitor's system and not their own? (Lulz)

its not a M rated game either so...now that i think of it Ninty rarely publishes M rated games themselves, I wonder why?

We were talking about Bayonetta 2. It's almost certain to be M rated.

No. Bayonetta is a known IP, doesn't have a confused target audience like W101, and will likely get better reviews. Even if they repeat their stupidity of shipping 30k copies for Japan and releasing it in the US the same week as COD Black Ops 3 or something, it's almost guaranteed to do better than W101. It probably won't be a multi-million seller, but it won't be a flop to this absurd degree. |
The fact that they are shipping 30k copies in Japan is based on consumer demand. The game is simply not pre-ordered and so I don't see why retailers would order more copies. 30k is actually a lot.

thats more an exception than a rule and that is kinda copublished with Sega

I still cannot believe they're releasing W101 two days before GTA5, what the hell are they thinking? Why not release it simultaneously with Europe, as the English version is clearly finished? |
Shibata rocks, Reggie sucks.

| pezus said: I didn't even expect it to flop that badly early this year. I expected almost decent sales in Japan and NA, with it certainly flopping in Europe. Now I see it going like this: Japan: Epic flop. Europe: Even more epic flop. NA: Bad to mediocre sales. Overall: Definitive flop of the year |
*of the year*, now? Fuse would like to say a few things differently.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's not targeted at children.
