Forums - Nintendo - Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Black list is getting Rave reviews from users on Metacritic!

With respect to consoles, I am sure it is the best version on a technical level, plus there's the tablet support. All in all it is a very impressive game and a return to form. Wii U owners tend to complain about inferior ports and what not. I hope they go out and buy this game to encourage Ubi and other 3rd parties to support the platform.

Its still a very late port so its not like it solves the issues Wii U owners have with developers. Are we suddenly supose to forget we played the game already?

I bought it, currently playing it. It looks awesome, haven't noticed any screen tear yet. Love the game so far.

and Mnementh is one of them!

I didn't bought the game (yet). It is on my list, but I will wait a bit, other Ubisoft WiiU-titles dropped significantly in price, I will wait if the same happens here. I picked up W101 instead today.

The Mnementh on Metacritic isn't me, but whoever it is, he chose an awesome nick.

Now I know what Spurge was talking baout on my wall.

3DS-FC: 4511-1768-7903 (Mii-Name: Mnementh), Nintendo-Network-ID: Mnementh, Switch: SW-7706-3819-9381 (Mnementh)

10 years greatest game event!

I've got it (flip off the retailers and buy it on eShop) and I've found the time to play a couple missions. It's pretty polished. Only gripe I could make at this point is that load times are long. One review complained of frame drops on the Wii U, but I've only seen them while wandering around the plane. Cutscenes and gameplay are rock solid.

I sure am rusty at stealth games, though.

I heard about that, how bad is it ? I heared that the PS360 versions have redicolus tearing issues...I take dropped frames over tearing any day (on a side note: I will never be able to play Uncharted 1 because of the shitty tearing....and because it´s boring)

i thought it just launched on all platforms? are you mistaking this with Deus Ex or something?

Hopefully it will do good digitially, as it seems it won't do good in retail.

Yeah you are right I was confusing the 2 games for some reason. I guess because I am use to any mature game being a late port.

blacklist is a new game launching on 4 simultaneous platformns.

Shame about the actual game though. Why Ubisoft are adamant on ruining the tried and true SC formula with each new iteration is beyond me.

Reviews look pretty average IMO.
