Ign. Didn't say the game was bad either, or it was too hard. Just that they didn't like the controls...

Again, he and his company have a peculiar relationship with critics. I once again refer back to God Hand, which got, in particular, an absolutely abysmal score from IGN.

It's wierd because IGN still put God Hand in their Top 100 PS2 Games of All Time. Guess it was just one crappy reviewer.

I think hes a bit mad cause he wanted to "meet" Nintendo's "high" expectations (which I think he did)

There have been a few articles where he stated that making a Nintendo exclusive ment that he wanted to prove to Nintendo that Plat can make "Nintendo Quality Games" and that 7.2 or w.e. isn't "Nintendo Quality"

Also IGN is a joke when it comes to reviews

In the 90s, 72 was a good score... Even Mario Games got scores like that. But I guess nowadays everything below 90 is terrible...

I played the demo, I really think IGN low scored the game.  Seems like they do this most of the time for Japanese games for some reason...

This is what happens when you let British reviewers review the game. But yet again Nintendo wanted to release the game their first. Lol. I know for a fact Mario 3D World is gonna get at least a 9. Or a 9.5.

It seems a lot of people have a problem with the person who reviewed W101. Apparantly she constantly deducts points for difficult games.
