No, you get out.
Tidus was freaking awesome. Had true character evolvement, and true involvement in the story.
@007BondAgent: If he was "pretty much the only one", then you've not played enough FF yet.
Bartz.
Easy one.
Edit : Feel like a lot of people here only played VII-X

He's supposed to be meh though...Balthier and Ashe are supposed to be the main characters of the story and Vaan is supposed to be a tag along set of "eyes" so the player can experience the story in an alternating 3rd person view. While there are several scenes told from the 3rd person that don't include Vaan at all, its primarily told from his eyes. It falls flat in some places, but it was a clever attempt given that most FF games are told from either 3rd person omnicient or 1st person (Final Fantasy X.) So, I don't really include Vaan as a main character in the franchise.
In my opinion the Warriors of Light are the weakest protagonists, but then again that was the first Final Fantasy and it didn't have much of a story to begin with. :P

Vaan was quite forgettable but Tidus was pure annoyance. Gotta go with Tidus.
Really didn't like Lightning but I didn't get very far in the game so my experience isn't enough for a verdict.

I have to agree that he is the most dynamic...his character changes drastically from whiny brat to a fairly mature adult and he's honestly effected by the plot and also does effect the plot. They did a good job with that story, but if we're going to go with loss of innocence tale, I think Zack Fair was a much better written character.
