The ps4 only has one battery, xbox one wins!!!
| S.T.A.G.E. said: They should spring for the batteries. That adds to the list of things people have to buy before the price reaches $600 and they havent even purchased a game yet. That extra controller will definitely be around $60 so if you're buying a game or two you're looking at over $700 with an extra controller two games and battery packs for both. Yep...I am definitely waiting for a price drop if it even remotely interests me with exclusives. Halo 5 better be phenomenal. Smart job by MS yet again tacking onto the bill. P.S. Before this I thought the battery packs came with the 360 controller. Good ol' MS. |
We got a genius here. He realizes buying hardware at launch can be pricey.
I realized that back in 2006. "$599 US dollars."

At least at $599 in 2006 it came with a Blu Ray player and rechargable controller that had slight motion capabilities with six axis.
Good morning, pug, pug.

Well the advantage of using AA batteries is you don't have to use a wire when your battery dies.
Simply replace the batters and voila, keep playing with no wires. Obviously you'd ignore that given you're "A proud member of the loyalty free gaming movement."

Do you really always have to argue about Sony and MSFT every chance you get? Don't you ever get tired of it?

Bluray? You mean that device that will never achieve the success of DVD and is often ignored for digital media? The market share Sony lost and billions of dollars lost shows how much people cared about Bluray in 2006.
Like I said before, a wireless PS3 controller becomes wired once that battery dies. To the contrary, AA batteries can be replaced to continue wire free gaming. I personally have a fancy device that recharges AA batteries.
Are you really boasting about six axis capabilities? Like anybody gives a crap about that. Stop joking around.

Edit: Furthermore! I think you're forgetting the X1 has Bluray, Kinect, and is still cheaper than $599. Ouch, that must sting you a little.

and ????
I spent 1000 on the 360 when I bought it.... I got like 5 games 2 pads one charger kit and a year of XBL with the starter kit and some MS points and I can't remember the rest it was a big bundle....
but I don't see the issue here... can't afford it just wait for good deals or price break.... in comparaison to other tech device like smartphones and ipads I found that pretty standard.... between the device the different accessories (headset, case, screen protection, chargers, adaptators for the car, and apps) my entertainement ends up being cheaper than the rest which wasn't the case a few years back....

Come on, you can charge a controller while not playing. You just plug in a cable, no need to swap batteries and charge them in an extra device. With the PS4, that also works while the system is in stand-by. There are no advantages whatsoever in using AA Batteries. It's also pretty bad for the evironment since not everybody will use rechargable batteries.
