love it when things get blown up just to hate on a console...

here $8.99 and you are basically set for a generation. Problem solved.

Oh yeah? Well how do you plan on fixing that ugly power brick? Just knowing that there's a brick behind my TV that I can't even see totally drives me crazy. Fuck Xbox One!

78 million 360 users seem to have no problem with batteries, same goes to uncounted pc-gamers who bought the controller. But it's a legit argument in wars, of course. I will keep on using my eneloops.

I find it funny how everyone yells at ms for choices like including a kinect less bundle and so on but once they give the player a choice on how to have there controller charged everyone demands them to only have it one way

2 AA batteries? THANK THE LORD.

Seriously though, the Wii U Gamepad and Dualshock 4 don't use batteries. Why not Xbox One?

nice

I heard from a reliable anonymous source that they are about to upgrade to 3 AA Batteries.

Oh god $502 price point confirmed.

MS innovating again

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Seriously though, are people lazy to just buy a pack of batteries?

I think its more about the 15 seconds of time people waste changing new batteries after playing for 50+ hours..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I really like that the PS controller doesn't need batteries. I can just recharge it and tho whoever complains about the controller becoming wired, just try sitting down to game and discovering your batteries have died and there's not an open shop in a 25 Km radius that sells them at that hour of the night, as it happened to me once I had a 360 at my grandparents' home. This sort of stuff can ruin a man's fun.
Also, a set of GOOD rechargeable batteries will run you for about...hmmm...25 Euros here, which is rather expensive. It would be nice if MS included a set, but oh well, there are advantages and disadvantages to any approach.

my thoughts exactly, or if you have kids and its late so you cant really get them out of bed to go to walmart to buy batteries.  I know alot of people will say just get them while you shop and youll never be out.  BUT some people are forgetful, so shit happends.

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

How long did the batteries last in the last controller? Just curious.
