It's just my opinion... the Pad is not a selling point on the contrary some gamers didn't buy the Wii due the Pad.

Some gamers thinks the Pad is the best thing ever created, others not... Nintendo already hinted the Pad was not a good ideia after all... well at least not a game changing.

Edit - I will say more... PS4 and Xbone will outsell Wii U after the first year in the market this time.

man can't believe you bit on that!!! ethomaz always goes into a Nintendo thread to spin some sort of negativigty on the company (check on all his past post and you'll see I am right).  He seems to get off that stuff!!! It's best to just move on and ignore his comment.  That's just my advice, and I am with you in terms of Nintendo is in the situation they are in because they didn't plan their software releases properly.  Nintendo had problems releasing a steady flow of software during launch year for the N64, the Wii, DS, and 3DS and now the Wii U.  Something never change...except this time it's biting them in the ass!!!  Oh well at least I have my 360s to hold me over!!!

I love this guy.

 

As expected Nintendo were struggling with HD development but are now getting a hold of it. Development times should still be somewhat slower than they were in the GC-Wii era but, with Namco and other third party partnerships plus expanding studios, they will soon have all sides covered.

People expecting this console to sell Gamecube-like numbers are in for a ride.

I did not buy a Wii U. Don't take it personally. It's not because I don't want one.



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

no, you can't. the gamepad only adds $50 to the wii u's retail price.

             Nintendo needs to market  lesser known games like X, Bayonetta 2, Sonic Lost World, Pikmin 3, etc..
