Lack of first party support has been hindering sales. Only 2 first party titles released since launch. It's really not rocket science mate. As for the cost of the GamePad I'd say Zero isn't too far off, I'd say it's more like $70 myself. |
I think that's the final cost of the gamepad itself too. but IF WII U DIDN'T HAVE THE GAMEPAD, it would still have something like the pro controller/wiimote and nunchuck. if we consider the pro controller as costing $20, subtracting it from the gamepad price means it's only a $50 increase.

Seriously though, if all Nintendo fans tout Nintendo's first party games as why they but Nintendo's consoles then why is lack of 3rd party support hindering WiiU sales? |
Because with lacking third party support Wii U sales are pretty much limited to Nintendo fans only.
Seriously man, I'm sure you could have figured that out yourself if you were interested in trying.

The console hasn't been out for that long. They have many first party titles up & coming. But eventually we all knew Nintendo's limited library and lack of new ideas would eventually catch up with them.

who's saying you need aproval?
"Unless u mean because it keeps the price of the console up and not many games take advantage of it, then I can see ur point."
you said you could see his point if he meant that and i just proved it wrong. so he has no point and thus, no one can see it.

"Nintendo's limited library and lack of new ideas"
oh lord, if you think that way about nintendo, how much of a crap do you think the rest of the industry is?

U didnt prove shit, u even said it keeps the price up by $50. Im also pretty sure nobody knows how much it costs to make so ur just making up numbers, which to be fair I agree with ur estimates, just saying u have no proof.

$50 is too little of a raise in exchange for that awesome controller. he was saying as if the price increase was very significant, wich it isn't.
And I'm not making up numbers. we know exactly what's inside and it's final price is about $70 or less, just 45-50 dollars above a regular controller.
Miyamoto is getting OLD!
Well, if Wii U flops the next Nintendo console/handheld duo will take the world by surprise.
It isn't that Wii U sucks, it is that Nintendo's core franchises aren't there yet. Nintendo hasn't had much experience in the HD field. Especially with shaders. After the first batch of Nintendo's first party games, expect a whole lot more.
