He was responsible for the "stick with X360" comment, right?

That was his answer to a question.."What about people with absolutely no Internet connection?" And he said "We have a Device for that it's called the Xbox 360"...even followed that by saying .."If you absolutely have no internet connection"

Sensationalism took that one out of context..

He followed it with the nuclear submarine comment, which is even worse.

No need to sensationalize this at all.

"I don't know what it means to be on a nuclear sub" Followed by "I  can Imagine that it's not easy to get an internet connection"...I don't get your point..how was a damaging comment?

Just watched the full interview and the context only made it worse.

Either way no need to apologise for the man buddy, he's seemingly gone now and so are his DRM dreams...

Implying you need to be somewhere ridiculous to be without Internet, coupled with the irony that submarine sailors and other people in the military do actually want to play new xbox games.

Really.....No I still don't see you point...Oh well..

Is his role in the Xbox division or whatever, the same as Ken Kutaragi in the old days? I mean, was he the one responsible for Xbones old policies? If so, I support his departure.

Good residence. Never liked him. Hopefully MS hires somebody who actually thinks before he opens his god damn mouth.

THen they are a bunch of fools, a console reveal is NO time to be secretive, E3 is NO time to be secretive. That doesnt even make any sense, not if they are trying to sell their machine to people and its the most expensive one to boot. Need to see to understand? Most people are not trying to hear that noise, they want to see what the machine can do off the bat. If MS couldnt show the advantages of the "cloud" and DRM. Then either a, they are a bunch of fools that didnt know what they were doing or b, there were no advantages and they were treading water hoping people would just go along. I think its a combo of both leaning more toward b

The system isn't even released yet. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the cloud is something that some devs are still working on atm and that they didn't have anything to display it, and that the always-on requirement needs to be there off-the-bat, regardless?

Pre-launch is always a time of secrecy. What are the 20 1st-party PS exclusives to come, do you know them? You don't.

No it hasnt occured because it doesnt even make sense. What is the cloud supposed to do? THey still never cleared that up? Why would they need always online? they never cleared that up. THey didnt clear anything up and thats why people took the piss out of them. I dont buy for a 2nd that its needs to be always online for it to work, especially since they took that out and said cloud would not be affected. So i come to the conclusion it was BS to begin with.

Games have nothing to do with the console functions. We wanted clarification on xbone's policies, we got a bunch of PR crap till they said screw it, no one is buying this and reversed. We know games will come. I personally dont need to see 20 exclusives off the bat. KZ4 and new Infamous got my attention along with the other games
