I've just completed TLOU (on hard mode) and everything about the game has instantly made me oversee many other available games. I was going through dead rising 2 at the same time and now can't continue it because it just feels like a bad last gen game now. And that is just an example. Everything about the last of us brings gaming standards to new levels (on consoles).

Na infamous 2 set the standard for me. Open world, nice physics, great levels and story. By far the game play is unrivaled IMO.

I think it raised the standard from a developer point of view. It's going to be hard matching the masterful execution of the story and impressive characters performance!

Nope it didn't as I don't expect any other developer to get to Naughty Dog levels. So I'll just play my other games as usual, overlooking their flaws and imperfections.
