Nay. The gameplay wasn't anything particularly unique or great.

One moment people complain about games being too cinematic and linear. Yet Last of Us rolls around and it gets all the praise in the world.

The only thing that the last of us does that is a step forward for me is the animations. Awkward animations like say for example on Mass effect wont be tolerated so well anymore. Its gonna be motion capture for everything.

Naw. The gameplay in Last of Us didn't do it for me, great acting, scripting, storyline, okay pacing, dull gameplay. The opening 20 minutes were amazing.

Second time that's happened for me this year (BioShock Infinite being the other time). Both are really good games, but the gameplay itself was pretty bland. Tomb Raider was the reverse with excellent gameplay and pacing but so-so acting, scripting, characters and storyline.

I just want somebody to get them all together. Of course all 3 of these games are some of the best of this gen regardless, just far from flawless.

Do you really think it is a re-skinned Uncharted? Really? Really? Really?  Can you really say that with a straight face?

 

Anyway, it has a little bit. I can't really decide what game to play cause I feel it will be a bit of a dissapointment, though I have been playing Persona 4.... The other problem is that Rome II and GTA V are coming in a couple of months, so whatever I play now will just feel like filler
