Well, no, but I tend to play only the best anyway.
I think, rather than "raising gaming standards", it's certainly raised the bar for story-driven action games. Similar games that now look really bad in comparison are hitman, Alan Wake, Uncharted 3, Dead Rising, etc.
One game that manages to look like quality despite TLoU is Tomb Raider.

Um...Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a stealth or no sealth game all the same. The only true choice comes from the RPG tactics. The element of survival is refreshing and will continue to set standards, Pug Pug.
