How about a new IP?

I guess that's not up to Retro.

Quite pleased with the reveal although only complaint is the lack of kremlings ;(

The Kremlings are actually owned by Microsoft now, so blame them.

No way lol

How did he appear in Mario Super Sluggers?

Also in DK Jungle Climber and DK Barrel Blast

Probably the same reason why Geno is in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Deals can be made.

Some of you people can't seem to wrap this around your head. DKCR sold more than all of the prime games combined. That's more than enough reason for Nintendo to continue with DK rather than Metroid.

Believe me I wished Retro was working on Metroid but it is something that you are going to have to accept whether you like it or not.

Then again mostly all Nintendo has done on the Wii U so far has been copy/paste. Look at how it's doing. They've been really lazy on the Wii (mostly the last years) and now they're paying the price.

I am disappointing they chose DK so soon after the Wii game :/

they could have done a new IP or gone back to Metroid which does not have to be Prime 4 but a new entry in the franchise

this sure is not what people wanted them to do

oh well

It's been three years since the first one. How long should Nintendo wait between each title? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

I'm perfectly fine with that and i'm sure it will be a fantastic game.

ill forgive them if they have dixie kong

Somebody didnt watch the reveal.

OT: DKC is a far bigger franchise than Metroid, so its the logical thing to do - Get the bigger game onto your struggling platform asap.

well, considering Donkey Kong Country Returns sold around the same as the three Metroid Prime games together, I understand why they did it.

Still really disappointing, I mean, it looks like a wii game. I wish they chose something to push the system more.

really? you need glasses more than me!

Look at returns, and then this. The jump is negligible.
