Great. I only have like 2 friends on this site and one leaves. The entire NHL thread will miss ya, buddy. Wish you could have stuck around for the finals. Hopefully after a long enough time for you, you get your ban lift and come back.

It's bloody hard to jump from being part of the community to policing it. I wonder if there's something inherently broken about recruiting mods from inside the community. There seems to be a pretty high attrition rate. |
I got a warning for something I didn't think was justified. Explained to the mod my side. Then thanked him for doing his job and to continue the good work.
This came as a shock. He had never even mentioned anything to the other mods; he just left.
We didn't really get along at first, but I came to really respect and like him as a member and as a moderator, and I'm sad to see him go

What, no sorta hinting at it or anything? I know he left for a week or two to "gather his thoughts" and he was close to leaving then. But that was months ago!
