Being a mod is a thankless task, hope he enjoys his new found freedom.

Not true, I just thanked a mod for the service he does for this site, and that was despite getting a warning I didn't deserve.

Of course when I queried the warning I used civil and polite language to explain the situation, and the warning was reversed.

I didn't even know Amp was a mod. I'm sorry his time as a mod so affected him that he felt he had to leave forever. You need a pretty thick skin to be a mod on gaming sites. It's bloody hard to jump from being part of the community to policing it. I wonder if there's something inherently broken about recruiting mods from inside the community. There seems to be a pretty high attrition rate.

I got a warning for something I didn't think was justified. Explained to the mod my side. Then thanked him for doing his job and to continue the good work.
