Ps3 surpassing wii? NO

ps4 winning against wii u? A big maybe. So far it seens  there'll be a good fight between them.

In time, you will join me in the light. Anyway, that 37M lead that the Wii had is down to 22M now.

PS3 would have to sell a million units a month for the next 2 years. That's npt happening.

This generation of sales will be a race between PS4 and WiiU.

I can see the PS3 hitting 85 million. Perhaps 90 million. But 100 million is VERY optmistic. The console would need some insanely strong legs to sell that much.
And it's perfectly possible that PS4 won't win the generation. You never know.

This gen's sales looks to be a race between  WiiU and PS4.

I just cannot see how XOne could possibly sell as well as either one with it's price disadvantage.

And lucky for the ps3 it will be on the market for longer than 2 years

Well they haven't won the current generation yet but I wish them the best of luck. Things going against them selling another 25 million are:
-the PS4's price is actually quite affordable so the future sales of the PS3 might slow down a lot.
-They said they will bring the PS3's games to the PS4 through Gaikai so many people who don't own a PS3 might just get a PS4 instead
-The 360 could have a price cut.

Look, I understand that Sony had a great showing at E3. Good for them. But that isn't going to magically make PS3 sell a ton of units out of nowhere.

This generation is over. People are looking at next-gen now. Typically, consoles don't really sell that well after they've been replaced.
