Forums - Gaming - At this point what advantages do Consoles have over PC? (Updated)

The thing is a PC can pretty much do anything that a console does. However the price, ease of use, dedicated controllers, and first party games is what it has on it's side.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

To some extent, I really want to agree with you on price, but where I live, our currency makes it real bad that you have to be in the high class to afford even the basic of them all... I guess region also comes to affect. -_-'

Yep, this was the biggest advantage to me.  Being able to sell games I didn't want anymore, borrowing/trading with friends and havin the ability to bring a game to a friends house to play were the best parts about being a console gamer.

Consoles generally have Japanese games which interest me more than the games you generally find on PCs.

- you can play old games online without fear that the servers have been shut down

- console is in my living-room, PC is not :)

I don't think anybody wants to be in a suit and smoking a pipe lol. I wouldn't mind being this guy though, the dood is 42 years old man, like wtf lol.
