- Console-exclusive games
- work out of the box (PC does for me, too, but it requires more knowledge than gaming on PC)
- you can play old games online without fear that the servers have been shut down
- don't have to fiddle with updates (yes, consoles have updates, too, but I don't want to do research on which driver-version I need for game xy)
- console is in my living-room, PC is not :)
- less power consumption
