It doesnt support BC
They're basically trying to get that Sony image with the 10 year plan. They said that Xbox One was made to play the next gen of games and that they will continue supporting 360

Sony blocks multiplayer or other content of the used game today. MS blocks the game completely. I would not be surprised if Sony goes the same way like MS with the PS4 though.
But it doesn't bother me. I haven't bough a used game since Fifa 2001 I guess. |
same here. Never bought a second hand game. Just to try to understand the mind set behind this move.

lol, wut? So your saying people love steam because it requires an internet connection? Sorry, but people love steam because of the huge discounted prices. People dislike the fact that steam requires an internet connection. Why compare two completely separate services with one another in the first place? This feature is not good no matter what anyone sais about another service. Why even defend it? lol I'm sure it doesn't even effect you. |
Actually I'm with Kowenicki on this one. I don't remember any threads about how horrible steam is because it requires internet, but MS does it and boom, they're a terrible company. I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. Not an MS fan, but let's not kid ourselves. No one loves internet as a requirement, but not that many people complain about it either.

Steam is also bad for those reasons and I have no idea how the gaming "community" has been in love with it all this time.

I don't like it either and I play tons of games on steam and I do think that the community is in love with it mainly because of its prices/offers, but also because of how easxy it is to buy and play a game in a matter of minutes as opposed to going to a store. But I think that if the vast majority of VGC wasn't anti-MS, the internet requirement would not have been such a big deal. It doesn't require always online anyway.

I can't speak for every Steam user but I rarely pay full price for Steam games. The prices I've paid for some of my Steam games is down right criminal.
