Xbox One requires internet for game activation

No, this means it will be handled more like Sonys first party games on the PS3 / PS Vita today. Games like PSABR, LBP Vita, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 and a lot more already include an online pass. You can buy these games used, but you need to pay an extra fee to the publisher to play the game.

Sony blocks multiplayer or other content of the used game today. MS blocks the game completely.

I would not be surprised if Sony goes the same way like MS with the PS4 though.

 

But it doesn't bother me. I haven't bough a used game since Fifa 2001 I guess.

same here. Never bought a second hand game. Just to try to understand the mind set behind this move.
