Actually I'm with Kowenicki on this one. I don't remember any threads about how horrible steam is because it requires internet, but MS does it and boom, they're a terrible company. Steam is also bad for those reasons and I have no idea how the gaming "community" has been in love with it all this time.

I don't like it either and I play tons of games on steam and I do think that the community is in love with it mainly because of its prices/offers, but also because of how easxy it is to buy and play a game in a matter of minutes as opposed to going to a store. But I think that if the vast majority of VGC wasn't anti-MS, the internet requirement would not have been such a big deal. It doesn't require always online anyway.
